I haven't checked Free People in a while but it's nice to see that they are continuing to make the most ridiculous clothes humanly possible. click for big.


Mesh Lace Shoulder Warmer? Yeah because, when I want to be warm, non-delicate super insulating materials like mesh and lace are the first things I turn to. Also, Shoulder warmer? I think it's called a jacket. And it's not supposed to be cut in half.

I know people are super into recycling these days but they should really draw the line at neck braces and road kill.


Speaking of recycling, it's nice that that someone found a use for the towel I threw away yesterday. Also, HOW IS THIS $150.

The zipper on this makes absolutely no sense. and "zip wrap" is basically the dumbest name for a piece of clothing ever.

Distracting Movie Costumes

So there were these new pics of Hilary Duff shooting a movie for ABC or some nonsense and all I could think about is how her outfits are going to be soooo distracting on the big (or I guess small) screen. I had the same feelings when I saw the nasty Sex and the City 2 picture that came out a few weeks ago. P.S. Miley Cyrus' hair looks faker than Monopoly money.

The main problem in all the following pictures is that they take the concept of TOOO MUCH to new extremes. If they would have just toned it down a little (For ex. changing the color of H Duff's shirt) there wouldn't have been a problem.

Distracting costumes are serious. They took me completely out of Bright Star.

Who Needs to be Fired? Bona Drag Edition

I like Bona Drag. I've purchased shoes from them. They are based in Encinitas. They have really unique clothes. They even got their name from a Morrissey song. But sometimes things go very wrong...
Actually this is a weird case where even though the clothes kind of fail, that failure is commendable because it is a byproduct of originality. Respectable failure.


This is actually Betsey Johnson. It's like goth and victorian and western and tea party and I don't know what to do with it.


The spandex and color makes this look like a Power Ranger that never was. Fuschia Ranger. The solid panels on the side make the model look wide. The top part fits really well but I mean...this just isn't my favorite.

The top isn't horrible but wow... the waist and below. Holy widdening, Batman. Plus this color makes me want to sleep.
